NFL, PepsiCo, and Accenture Leaders Named to 2025 Marketing Hall of Fame

Three senior executives from powerhouse organizations in sports, FMCG, and consulting have been named to the 2025 Marketing Hall of Fame. The American Marketing Association New York has selected Tim Ellis (CMO, NFL), Greg Lyons (CMO, PepsiCo Beverages North America), and Jeannine Shao Collins (CMO, Accenture North America) in recognition of their contributions to modern marketing strategy and brand innovation.

Greg Lyons, in particular, has helped steer PepsiCo Beverages North America toward bold consumer engagement strategies. Under his leadership, the beverage giant has deepened cultural relevance through high-impact campaigns and product innovation. His team has executed marketing that bridges entertainment, sports, and lifestyle, reinforcing PepsiCo’s leadership in CSD (carbonated soft drinks), sports drinks, and ready-to-drink tea categories.

Tim Ellis has been a significant force behind the NFL’s brand evolution, leading efforts to reach younger, more diverse audiences. His initiatives—including increased investment in digital platforms and social causes—have helped reposition the NFL as more culturally connected, attracting new fans without alienating core audiences.

Jeannine Shao Collins, meanwhile, has played a pivotal role in advancing Accenture’s brand through thought leadership and integrated marketing across multiple industries. Her focus on purpose-led growth and B2B marketing effectiveness has earned industry acclaim and strengthened Accenture’s global market influence.

The inclusion of two FMCG-related leaders—PepsiCo and NFL (with its growing stable of branded CPG partnerships)—underscores the marketing community’s recognition of long-term brand building and meaningful consumer engagement amid shifting consumption behaviors.

The inductees were selected by a panel of CMOs, academics, and agency leaders, based on originality, influence, and impact on the marketing profession. All three will be formally honored at an induction ceremony in New York City on May 15, 2025.

For FMCG professionals, these recognitions highlight the increasing necessity of integrated marketing thinking that clearly aligns with cultural insight, digital fluency, and long-range brand strategy. The 2025 Marketing Hall of Fame class exemplifies how established companies are maintaining category leadership through narrative-driven innovation and multi-platform excellence.
