Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola Expand RTD Line with New Vanilla Variant

Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola are expanding their successful ready-to-drink (RTD) partnership with the introduction of Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola Vanilla. This latest addition combines the classic whiskey and cola pairing with a vanilla twist, catering to evolving consumer preferences in the RTD alcohol market.

Capitalizing on the RTD Growth Trend

The RTD alcoholic beverage sector continues to experience strong growth, driven by consumer demand for convenient, high-quality options. The original Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola RTD was launched in 2022 and quickly gained popularity. The brand’s decision to introduce a vanilla variant reflects the ongoing trend of flavor innovation in the spirits industry.

“The response to Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Dallas Cheatham, Jack Daniel’s RTD Brand Director. “By adding vanilla, we’re bringing another layer of flavor to consumers who already enjoy this classic combination.”

Availability and Market Expansion

The Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola Vanilla RTD will be available in select global markets, with a phased rollout throughout 2024. The drink is set to launch in the United States first, with additional markets to follow based on demand.

Packaged at 7% ABV in ready-to-drink cans, this new variant provides consumers with a convenient alternative to traditional whiskey and cola mixed drinks while maintaining the familiar flavor profile of the renowned brands. The product will be sold in single 12-ounce cans and multipacks, allowing for easy consumption across various occasions.

Industry Implications

Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola’s expansion highlights the continued momentum of RTD beverages in the spirits industry. As competition intensifies, brand collaborations and flavor innovation remain key drivers for growth. The new vanilla-flavored variant further positions the brand within a category that is increasingly appealing to younger consumers seeking accessible yet premium drinking experiences.

With major players doubling down on RTD innovation, the segment is poised for further expansion as brands experiment with flavors, formats, and packaging to meet evolving market trends.
