Coca-Cola Bottler Invests $75M to Expand and Upgrade Fort Worth Plant
Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages (CCSWB), the exclusive Coca-Cola bottler for Texas and parts of the U.S. Southwest, has launched a significant $75 million expansion and modernization project at its Fort Worth production facility. The investment is aimed at boosting capacity, enhancing sustainability efforts, and supporting long-term growth in the region.
The project will add approximately 400,000 square feet to the existing plant, nearly doubling its size. Once completed, the expanded facility will incorporate advanced manufacturing systems, including more efficient production lines and high-speed bottling technology. The upgrade also reflects a commitment to sustainability, with improvements expected to significantly reduce water and energy use per unit produced.
“This investment reinforces our long-term commitment to the Fort Worth community and enhances our ability to serve customers across Texas and the region more effectively,” said Claudia Lorenzo, President of Arca Continental Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages. The facility already employs over 1,000 people, and the expansion is expected to support additional job creation through both construction and ongoing operations.
Beyond increasing production capacity, the modernization aims to support CCSWB’s diverse beverage portfolio, which includes sparkling sodas, bottled water, sports drinks, and low- or no-sugar options. The trend toward healthier drink choices and sustainability is reshaping consumer preferences, and the Fort Worth investment positions the company to respond more nimbly to those demands.
The Fort Worth site is one of the largest Coca-Cola plants in the U.S. and handles bottling and distribution for a major portion of the Southwest market. According to company officials, construction has already begun and is expected to be completed by mid-2026.
